Veteran French rider Patrice Delaveau took the victory at the Anemone Horse Trucks Grand Prix of Amsterdam, closing the CSI 4* Jumping Amsterdam week in a class that gave the winner 80 World Ranking points and €26,235.
After passing a regular round with 46 pairs, 9 would qualify to the tiebreaker led by Delaveau and his 13-year-old gelding Lacrimoso 3 Hdc (Landjunge x Cascavelle) owned by Haras Des Coudrettes to complete its field in time of 37.14 seconds, result that kept distant the Belgian Pieter Devos of 1.50 seconds.
For the second place, Devos with 14-year-old gelding Dream Of India Greenfield (Gem of India x Nigth Ans Day) from Devos Stables, completing the tour in 38.64 seconds with 70 FEI Ranking points, while the third position was occupied by Irish Dermott Lennon and 15-year-old mare Loughview Lou-Lou (Limmerick x Jack Of Diamonds) owned by Judith Sossick very close in 38.85 seconds.
The Top 5 was completed by Malin Baryard-Johnsson of Sweden with 11-year-old mare H&M Cue Channa 42 (Cardinus 933 x Robin Z) in fourth place with a time of 40.07 seconds and fifth was the Dutchman Ben Schröder with the last double clear of the competition, stopping the clock in 42.29 seconds with 9-year-old gelding Davino Q (Vingino x Monaco).
By the Latin and Pan Am Ranking Jose Maria Larocca of Argentina was the best in 20th place with the 10-year-old mare Hilary Van T Paradijs (Carabas V/D Wateringhoeve x Malito De Reves) owned by Larocca, to demolish a pole and totalize 4 faults in 73.28 seconds during the regular round. For his part the Mexican Ernesto Canseco finished in the 31st place with a total of 8 faults and the 10-year-old mare Celebrity VDL (Indoctro x Emilion).
