Patrice Delaveau comfortable at home to win €61,000 Grand Prix of St Lo.

French rider Patrice Delaveau take a comfortable home win by dominating the €61,000 CSI 3* St Lo Grand Prix Departement.

Accompanied by the 9-year-old gelding Urcos de Kerglenn HDC (Toulon) owned by S.A.R.L. Harás Des Coudrettes, Patrice Delaveau commanded the tiebreaker in 45.56 seconds to secure 50 World Ranking Points at the conclusion of the Normandie Horse Show.

In a class that had two of its main favorites cheering the competition, Patrice Delaveau was escorted in second place by Belgian rider Constant van Paesschen with the 10-year-old gelding Compadre van de Helle (Casall), completing his course in 46.70 seconds and third place was occupied by French Alexis Deroubaix with the 11-year-old gelding Secret du Pays D’Auge (Quick Star) in 46.94 seconds.

The French were in charge to occupy the remaining two places to complete the Grand Prix’s Top 5 with Timothee Anciaume in fourth place, accompanied by the 15-year-old gelding Kiamon (Kolibri) in 50.34 seconds and for the fifth place Clement Boulanger with the 9-year-old gelding Uranus D’Omonville (Muriesco Du Cotentin) in 56.56 seconds.

For the Pan American Ranking Yann Candele of Canada finished in 11th place to earn World Ranking Points, completing a regular round in 4 fouls with the 11-year-old gelding Chaventyno (Chacco-Blue).
