Second class on the second day of activities for the CSI5* Bordeaux and home rider Patrice Delaveau held its promotion in the World Ranking to 13th, with a resounding victory in speed class by the horse Carinjo HDC (Cascavelle x Landgraf I) owned by Haras Des Coudrettes.
After completing their court in time of 55.26 seconds, the French get to add 50 points to the FEI World Ranking in challenging for the Prix Foire Internationale de Bordeaux thanks to a new victory in his career, surpassing the tough hurdle representing the Swiss duo who took second and third place.
Steve Guerdat and Paul Estermann will remain close in the fight for the first place, being Guerdat with 10-years-old mare Albfuehren’s Happiness (Heartbeat x Lambrusco Ask) the best performance in 56.21 seconds, while Estermann and Castlefield Eclipse (Obos Quality x Furisto) would achieve time of 57.98 seconds no chance against Delaveau travel.
For the fourth and fifth completing the highlights of the second FEI class in Bordeaux, Jerome Guery of Belgium with the 10-years-old mare Ginnis Van’t Geyzeven (Cicero Z x Heureka de la Loge) no knockdowns in 58.59 seconds it would take over the room, followed by the Swedish world number 16 Henrik von Eckermann slate marking a time of 59.11 with 10-yeras-old mareYajamila (Lux x Daimler).
The best representative of PAEC Ranking was the American Lucy Davis and 9-years-old mare Coriana (Corrido x Lasino) owned by Old Oak Farm, managing to finish in the World ranking points in ninth place in time of 69.89 seconds and Colombian Rene Lopez distant ranked 29th totaled 16 fouls with horse Dear du Tillard (Le Tot de Semilly x Narcos II).
