French Patrice Delaveau won the €90,000 Grand Prix of Rouen in France, showing the way to finish in the top five positions by home riders.
Multiple times home winner for Patrice Delaveau, today the Grand Prix was no exception ending a fasted jump-off round in 37.32 seconds with the 10-year-old mare Leontine Ledimar ZHDC (Lovefever II x Grosso Z) and securing with his victory 80 World Ranking Points.
Another of the main protagonists at home as is Julien Epaillard, was very close in second place, being the difference of 35 hundredths of a second and completing his field in 37.67 seconds with the 10-year-old mare Toupin de La Roque (Kannan x Nabab de Reve), again achieving a one-two for France with Patrice Delaveau and Julien Epaillard.
The third place was take by Laurent Goffinet in the time of 38.00 seconds with the 13-year-old mare Quinette du Quesnoy (Helios de La Cour II x Capital), fourth place Adeline Hecart in 40.98 seconds with the 14-yearold gelding Pasha du Gue (Dollar Dela Pierre x Darco) and fifth Margaux Bost with the 11-year-old stallion As de Papignies (Kashmir Van Schuttershof x Ahorn Z) in 41.35 seconds.
The class that started with 50 pairs and ended the jump-off round with 9 riders, a total of 6 double clear round would conclude the class that represented the tenth 2017 FEI victory by world number 40 Patrice Delaveau.
Only Brazilian rider Luiz Felipe de Azevedo Filho participated by the Latino Ranking, exceeding the time allowed to be penalized with 2 fouls and totaling 6 fouls in 79.16 seconds, occupying 29th place next to the 12-year-old gelding Chaccomo (Chacco-Blue x Contender).
