The second competition of Global Champions League was part of the third date on the CSI5* Longines Global Champions Tour in Hamburg, where Peder Fredrickson of Sweden commanded the speed class to getting a time of 69.22 seconds.

With the result, Peder Fredrcison took 130 World Ranking points in a class that had the participation of 52 pairs, presenting with 11-year-old stallion H&M All In (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Andiamo Z). For second place Germany Ludger Beerbaum completed his course in 69.36 seconds with 14-year-old stallion Chiara (Contender x Coronado), being only 14 hundredths of a second slower, but faster than Belgian rider Gregory Wathelet who take the third place with 13-year-old stallion Eldorado van het Vijverhof (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Omar) in 70.25 seconds.

The Top 5 was completed in fourth place by Rolf-Göran Bengtsson of Sweden in a time of 73.00 seconds with 18-year-old Casall ASK (Caretino 2 x Lavall 5) and fifth place was Marco Kutscher of Germany, recording a time of 73.87 seconds next to 11-year-old stallion Chaccorina (Chacco-Blue x Lareno).

For Latino Ranking the Brazilian rider Yuri Mansur take 30 World Ranking Points in 12th place, completing his round in 75.49 seconds with 11-year-old stallion Babylotte (Dollar du Murier x Concorde). His fellowman Eduardo Menezes followed him in a distant 27th place, despite scoring a time of 71.46 seconds, but he shot down a pole to complete in 4 faults his course next to 12-year-old gelding Quintol (Quintender x Cento), while Venezuelan rider Emanuel Andrade had 8 fouls in 78.43 seconds with 10-year-old gelding Boy IV (Sandro Boy x Lansing) to finished in 47th place.
