In the first FEI class of the Glock Horse Performance Center in Austria, a significant number of big stars encouraged Gaston Glock’s Championat dispute, but the victory was of the Swedish rider Peder Fredricson in course designed by Franz Madl.

With a total of 41 pairs in two rounds course, where €93,000 were distributed among the top 12 qualified, Peder Fredricson recorded a time of 43.94 seconds to take first place plus 100 World Ranking Points with the 11-year-old gelding H&M All In (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Andiamo Z) owned by Stuteri Arch, while the second place was the German rider Marcus Ehning in a time of 44.58 seconds next to the 11-year-old gelding Gin Chin van het Lindenhof (Chin Chin x Calido I).

For its part, the Latino Ranking had as its main protagonist its former leader Marlon Modolo Zanotelli of Brazil, being placed in third with the 10-year-old mare Celena VDL (Mr. Blue x Chin Chin) owned by Vdl Stud, to complete his course in 45.95 seconds and add 70 World Ranking Points. Laura Kraut from United States and representative of Pan American Ranking, got a good time of 44.45 seconds with the 12-year-old gelding Deauville S (Diamant de Semilly x Lux Z), but they demolished a pole that placed them in the seventh place.

To finished the top 5 Hans-Dieter Dreher of Germany was in fourth place, being the last perfect two rounds course of the afternoon with the 16-year-old stallion Embassy II (Shield I x Silvio I) and in fifth place Pieter Devos of Belgium with the 4-fastest fouls in the class in 43.43 seconds with the 13-year-old gelding Espoir (Surcouf of Revel x Laudanum XX), but his four fouls prevented him from passing the fifth.

The best seed in the competition was World No. 2 Daniel Deusser from Germany, completed only one round to finish 15th with the 13-year-old mare Equita van’t Zorgvliet (Cassini I x Darco).
