The French rider Penelope Leprevost closed the first day of CSI5* Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show, undoubtedly the queen of Prix Premiumares who distributed 92,000 Euros.
Penelope Leprevost secured 100 World Ranking points after stopping the clock in 35.68 seconds accompanied by 9-year-old stallion Urano de Cartigny (Diamant de Semilly x Double Espoir) to take the victory, which completed the day with the French one-two, being escorted by the former World No. 1 Simon Delestre, completing its field in 36.42 seconds with 12-year-old gelding Hermes Ryan (Hugo Gesmeray x Ryon D’anzex). They were followed by Jos Verlooy of Belgium in third place, Philippe Rozier of France in fourth and Nicola Philippaerts of Belgium was fifth.
For Latino Ranking Enrique González stood out in the seventh place, after completing his tiebreaker in 39.67 seconds with the last double clear round with 10-year-old Chacna (Chacco-Blue x Narew XX), allowing him Its result to add 45 World Ranking points. Carlos López of Colombia was in a distant 25th position with 9-year-old mare Ulhane de Conde (Jarnac x Corland) when totalizing 6 faults in his regular round.
The best seed in the class was World’s No. 1 and leader of Pan American Ranking Kent Farrington of United States, finished with 16 fouls in 36th place alongside 10-year-old gelding Creedance (Lord Z x Notaris). Also participating US riders Laura Kraut and Jessica Springsteen, being located 29th and 32nd places.
