German Philipp Weishaupt rode straight to the victory completing the fastest round in the €35,000 Helsinki Calssics of the CSI5* Helsinki 2017.
As the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping – Helsinki 2017 week, the German rider Philipp Weishaupt guided his 8-year-old mare Call Me Eva (Chacco-Blue x Stakkato) owned by Ludger Beerbaum Stables GmbH, to take the victory at second day close.
The speed class integrated by 38 pairs had the millionaire rider Philipp Weishaupt, who recently won the $3,000,000 CP Internatioal from the Masters in Spruce Meadows and now registered a time of 57.08 seconds to take 50 World Ranking Points with his first place.
The most outstanding representative of Latino Ranking was Marlo Modolo Zanotelli of Brazil marking an important rhythm, being very close to the victory with the 13-year-old gelding Extra van Essene (Diamant de Semilly x Gothardsen), seizing the second place in time of 58.45 seconds and insuring in its case 45 World Ranking Points.
Completed the Top 5 of the class Maikel van der Vleuten of Holland in third place with the 11-year-old gelding VDL Groep Quatro (Quprice Bois Margot x Caletto I) in 59.00 seconds, fourth place by the Grand Prix’s winner hours before Steve Guerdat of Switzerland accompanied on this occasion with the 9-year-old gelding Urzo d’Iso (Number One d’Iso x Viking d’Oria) in 59.95 seconds and fifth place Manuel Fernandez Saro of Spain, recording a time of 61.29 seconds with the 12-year-old mare Royalty Des Isles (Zandor Z x Elan de la Cour).
Likewise for the Latinos Brazilian rider Yuri Mansur also participated, but he did not have the same effectiveness as his countryman, totaling 4 fouls in 66.89 seconds with the 9-year-old mare Tinkerbell 31 (Incolor x Argentinus), occupying a distant 24th place outside to the World Ranking Points.
