The Italian Piergiorgio Bucci was the winner of the third event FEI at CSI4* in Liverpool, speed factor was the evaluation in the contest and again not been home riders win the cup with respect to the classes arranged with World Ranking points.
With a clear lead over his closest followers, Bucci could draw a more than 1 second advantage which claimed the second win for an Italian rider in three class. With the horse Casallo Z (Casall x Carthago Z) a 12-years old stallion owned by Stal Bucci BV & Vittorio Orlandi, marked a time of 46.44 seconds to leave again anchored in the second position to a British rider, and in this case Laura Renwick and the horse Heliodor Hybris (Diamant De Semilly x Cannonball) a 9-years old gelding owned by Mr Colin Bates, stopping his time in 47.50 seconds, while the third was for the Irish Billy Twomey and the horse Tin Tin (Cavalier x Animo) by Sue Davies like the owner branded slate of 48.36 seconds.
There were a total of 5 clears round were presented at the competition, ranking fourth Belgian Wilm Vermeir over the 9-years old mare Hacienda D’Eversem (Contact vd Heffinck x Sheyenne Baugy) complete in time of 49.42 seconds and the fifth place was by the Swedish rider Angelie von Essen with the horse Newton Abbot (Converter x Indoctro) in a very conservative course of 56.85 seconds.
The fastest time of the afternoon was for the Britain Nicole Pavitt and Victor Blue (My Bjorn W x Rebel II Z) that even demeaned time winner by more than 2 seconds to complete her course in 44.04 seconds, but totaling 4 fouls the course sent direct to sixth.
