The Frenchman Pierre Alain Mortier won the €25,000 Nevers Grand Prix CSI2* resulting in a clear dominance by home riders occupying the first eleven places.
With 39 pairs animating the Grand Prix of Jumping International de Nevers in its First Edition of Jumping International Indoor, Pierre Alian Mortier took charge of the scene and placed his name as the first winner with his 9-year-old gelding Just Do It R (Action Breaker x Baloubet du Rouet).
With only 3 riders qualified for the jump-off, Pierre Alian Mortier completed his round in 43.69 seconds to represent the first and only double clear round of the Grand Prix, securing 50 World Ranking Points with his result and overtaking Megan Moissonnier with the 9-year-old gelding Umours Batilly (Quaprice Bois Margot x Dollar du Murier) in 4 fouls and 40.17 seconds, while completing the tiebreak with the same 4 fouls Jacques Bonnet in third place, accompanied by 9-year-old mare Uzi de La Beka (Quaprice Bois Margot x Cabdula du Tillard) in 40.97 seconds.
For the five best classified, French finished in fourth and fifth place with David Melin next to the 14-year-old gelding Dentos van het Lindehof (Bon Ami x Darco) and fifth Jacques Helmlinger with the 10-year-old stallion Tonic des Mets (Orion des Champs x Damoiseau D’Or), both riders being able to break the jump-off by exceeding the time allowed and be penalized with 1 foul.
By Latino Ranking Rene López from Colombia participated presenting himself with the 13-year-old gelding Con Dios III (Colman x Romino), but this time they could not decipher some of the questions of the course well, being eliminated.
