For the closing of the CSI 5* Jumping International of Bordeaux, Pieter Devos of Belgium took the last victory with the 12-year-old gelding Apart (Larino x Burggraaf), in the dispute of Land Rover Grand Pix that distributed 115,000 Euros.
After finishing the regular round with 32 pairs, the jump-off only had 7 qualifiers of which 6 completed the double clear round and Devos would get a time of 35.49 seconds, taking an advantage close to 1 second and credited 100 World Ranking points with his victory plus 37,950 Euros.
With the fight centered on the top three positions, second place was the Irishman Bertram Allen and 9-year-old gelding Izzy By Picobello (Cicero Z x Capriano) in tiebreaker time of 36.38 seconds, while the German Ludger Beerbaum recorded 36.46 seconds with the 18-year-old stallion Chaman (Baloubet du Rouet x I Love You) being in third place.
Again world No. 1 and best seed Daniel Deusser, ranked 16th completing his regular court in 4 fouls with Hidalgo SX (Quadrillo x Andiamo).
