Swiss Olympic medalist Pius Schwizer completed his two phases in 27.47 seconds to win the CSI5* St. Moritz Kulm Trophy Hotel.
The victory for the home rider Pius Schwizer was very disputed, obtaining a lead of 5 hundredths of a second before his compatriot Romain Duguet. In the case of Pius Schwizer he presented with the 10-year-old gelding Balou Rubin R (Balou du Rouet x Couleur-Rubin) to earn 50 World Ranking Points and Romain Duguet was accompanied by 8-year-old stallion Vancouver Lanlore (Toulon x Le Tot de Semilly) to finished second in 27.52 seconds, thus completing the Swiss one-two at St. Moritz.
The third place was for Maelle Martin of France in time of 27.57 seconds next to the 8-year-old gelding Vegas de la Folie (Castronom Z*de Hus x Ephebe For Ever*la Silla), fourth place for world number 4 Lorenzo de Luca from Italy with the 16-year-old gelding Neptune Brecourt (Cavalor Cumano x Kayack) in time of 27.63 seconds and fifth place Belgian rider Wilm Vermier with the 10-year-old mare Hacienda d’Eversem (Contact van de Heffinck x Sheyenne de Baugy) in 27.82 seconds.
It only finished within the points for the Pan American Ranking the American rider Paris Sellon with the 10-year-old gelding Quantas 15 (Quintero x Laurin), occupying the 15th place in 35.45 seconds. Outside the points were Katherine Dinan in 25th place with 8-year-old gelding Vic Des Cerisiers (Olympic d’Anguerny x Desir du Chateau) and Laura Kraut followed in 26th place with the 9-year-old mare Deville (Diabeau x Helmet).
For the Latino Ranking participated Mexican rider Gerardo Pasquel Mendez accompanied by the 11-year-old stallion Mighty Mouse (Quartz Adelheid Z x Codexco) finishing 31st.
