The second class in the third day of the CSI 5* Basel in Switzerland was once again the main event for the home riders, being the winner Pius Schwizer in the Prize of Grosspeter Nutzfahrzeuge AG.

Valid for the World Ranking, the competition consisted of accumulator points plus 2 Jocker at a height of 1.50m, where Schwizer totaled 70 points in time of 48.31 seconds with the 11-year-old gelding Leonard de la Ferme CH (Landjuweel x Indigene de Corday) owned by Marcel Merkli.

The result allowed Pius Schwizer to add 50 FEI World Ranking points, followed in second place by Frenchman Philippe Rozier and 12-year-old gelding Reveur de Kergane (Hornet Rose x Elan de la Cour) to take 45 World Ranking points with accumulated in his round of 70 points accumulate and time of 48.44 seconds.

Completed the group of Top five the Italian Luca Maria Moneta in third place registering 70 points in 49.41 seconds with Neptune Brecourt (Cumano x Kayack), fourth finished the winner of the previous class Steve Guerdat of Switzerland in 49.87 seconds with Dioleen (Rhodium x Weltino) and 70 points, closing in the fifth position Christian Rhomberg of Austria in 51.37 seconds with 70 points accumulated with Corbusier (Cristallo x Casco).
