In what was the best result of her career, Rebecca Mcgoldrick demonstrated yesterday with her third place that she was ready to give the surprise at any time and did not have to wait much, when today in company of the 10-year-old gelding Horatio van Erpekom (Kannan x Udarco van Overis) in winning round, took 80 World Ranking Points in a day to remember.
As the world number 897, Canada’s Rebecca Mcgoldrick was effectively leading her horse to stop the clock in 36.06 seconds and finish in the Pan American Ranking’s final, American rider Lillie Keenan with the 11-year-old gelding Super Sox (Salito x Silvio I) for only 14 hundredths of a second.
The story for the next three positions was clearly European with Belgian riders Dominique Hendrickx and Constant van Paesschen occupying third and fourth places, while the Irish rider Dermott Lennon seized fifth place.
By the Latino Ranking Enrique Gonzalez from Mexico was 13th with the 13-year-old gelding Quilebo du Tillard (For Pleasure x Quat’Sous), completing his court in 4 fouls and 43.25 seconds, being the only one by Latinos in Add FEI Ranking Points.
