Ukrainian rider René Tebbel took the victory in the FEI World Cup of Al Rayyan, ninth round of the Arab League, finishing the CSI4* Al Rayyan week in Qatar.

Also contesting the Grand Prix – World Cup of the CSI4* ONB Al Rayyan International Show Jumping Championship, René Tebbel completed the Two Rounds clear in 48.18 seconds, which earned him 100 World Ranking Points and a prize of €22,975 for his first place.

The class that distributed €91,900 among the 12 participants, registered only two rounds clear, being escorted René Tebbel by Australian rider Edwina Tops-Alexander, who completed an excellent week of very good results adding this second place in company of the 9-year-old gelding Inca Boy van’t Vianahof (Diamant de Semilly x Viana van de Kornelishoeve) in 51.81 seconds.

For third place the British rider Alexandra Thornton exceeded the time of second round and was penalized with 1 failure in 60.00 seconds with the 11-year-old gelding Cornetto K (Cornet Obolensky x Cleopatra), while the last Two Round rider was Ali Al Khorafi along with 13-year-old stallion Cheril (Guidam Sohn x Charity), finishing with 16 faults in 54.16 seconds.

The ninth round of the FEI World Cup Arab League had the previous class winner Derin Demirsoy of Turkey, occupying the fifth place in a fasted 4 fouls first round in 72.42 seconds, appearing in this opportunity with the 13-year-old stallion Harry K (Equest Carnute x Ronett-K).
