Marsellesa chords resounded in the Dehesa Montenmedio equestrian facilities in honor of the French rider Robert Breul, winner of the fourth Grand Prix XXII Circuit Hipico del Sol held today on the main track No. 3 David Broome. The French got an excellent result with his horse Arsouille Du Seigneur in the first Grand Prix that completed together. “I’m really pleased with this double clear round, a great victory for me that attests to the great projection that has this horse and the excellent developments taking,” said Breul.
He was the fastest of the four pairs who played the tiebreaker of this demanding Grand Prix designed by the renowned chief international track Uliano Vezzani, who will ride tests the next Olympic Games to be held in summer in Rio de Janeiro.
Britain’s Tim Stockdale with Fleur De L’Aube was the second in this test skipped 1.55 meters and scoring for the Longines FEI Ranking and fellow Yazmin Pinchen with Van de Vivaldi completed the positions of honor.
Canadian Rebecca McGoldrick with Cuba Libre was the fourth rider contesting the second round but despite being the fastest, a takedown prevented him from the podium. American Gabriela Merchad with Sara Glen S Basel finished in eighth place, while the Latin delegation was distant with Pedro Veniss from Brazil ranked 36th, followed by countrymen Felipe Amaral in 37th.
