Mexican rider Rodrigo Lambre was left with the Balvanera Grand Prix victory of the Campeonato National de Salto 2017 in Mexico.
The course designed by Anderson De Moura Lima had a total of 28 pairs encouraging the regular round, but only 3 riders would get their pass to the jump-off with the leading plan of the Brazilian rider Rodrigo Lambre.
Being the second week of activities of the Campeonato Nacional de Salto Balvanera 2017, Rodrigo Lambre was presented with the 10-year-old mare Chacciama (Chacco-Blue x Andiamo Z) to be the only pair that returned to the jump-off of the three classified, opting for the retirement and securing 50 World Ranking Points with this new victory.
The Latino Ranking Number 7 Rodrigo Lambre led a complicated round with interesting questions for the participants and surpassed the two Mexican riders classified as tiebreakers, but they did not come back tied for second place Francisco Pasquel with the 10-year-old gelding Naranjo (Robin II Z x Quappa) and Luis Alejandro Plascencia with the 9-year-old stallion DaVinci (Verdi x Concorde), representing both riders 45 World Ranking points.
Playing the time an important factor on regular round, were dismissed from the classification for the final round a total of 4 pairs, who were penalized with 1 and 2 fouls to exceed the time allowed and being located Arturo Parada Vallejo in fourth place with the 12-year-old stallion Cornet’s Dream (Cornet Obolensky x Cordobes I), Lorenza O’Farrill taking fifth and sixth place alongside the 12-year-old gelding Queens Darling (Quidam’s Rubin x Concetto) and 14-year-old stallion Pekin St Denis (Eyken des Fontenis x Quatoubet du Rouet), while the winner Rodrigo Lambre took also seventh place with the 11-year-old gelding Velini (Cheers Cassini x Kigali) in 88.58 seconds.
