Brazilian rider Rodrigo Lambre showed the way of the CSI2* Balvanera 2017 and their Grand Prix Banorte, where he has already added the highest honors.
The main class that had 25 pairs on course designed by German Werner Deeg, had an outcome in the tiebreaker round with only 3 classified riders and the participation of the Brazilian Rodrigo Lambre, Diego Vivero of Ecuador and Mexican Francisco Lomelin.
Rodrigo Lambre would put definitive figures with the 10-year-old gelding Chapilot (Chacco-Blue x Pilot), stopping the clock in 44.64 seconds and securing 50 World Ranking Points with a victory already known by South American rider.
The second place was iby Ecuadorian Diego Vivero, who came to take second place casually two days ago and hung the gold medal in the Bolivarian Games speed class in Colombia last week, finishing his jump-off round at 46.03 seconds next to the 11-year-old gelding Pretzel Logic (Adlantus As x Chasseur I), retiring Francisco Lomelin of Mexico in his jump-off to finish third with the 9-year-old stallion Donaugraaf (Quasimodo).
The top five finishers were grabbed fourth and fifth place by the Pasquel family from Mexico, leaving fourth Francisco Pasquel with the 10-year-old gelding Naranjo (Robin II Z x Quappa) in 4 fouls and 71.01 seconds, while Patricio Pasquel was fifth with the 8-year-old stallion Pomerol (Vivaldi du Seigneur x Corrodo I) in 4 fouls and 73.62 seconds.
