The home riders made themselves felt at the Preis der Cornèr Bank AG, Zürich led by Romain Duguet in an impeccable jump-off round.
Be the last rider to comeback at the jump-off, Romain Duguet kept a more conservative round, but enough to complete the only double clear round of the class with the 11-year-old mare Sherazade du Gevaudan (Tinka’s boy x Iago C).
The course designed by Swiss Guido Balsiguer served for a new victory of Romain Duguet and earn 50 World Ranking Points with a time of 45.15 seconds. In second place Beat Mändli scored a better time in 42.24 seconds, but a 4-foul round gave the winner the necessary backhand against his country man who came with the 11-year-old mare Bijou de Balou (Balou du Rouet x Graf Gramma).
For third place and completing the last participant of the tiebreaker was Aurelia Loser with the 13-year-old mare Quinette Theod (Helios de La Cour II x Qredo of Paulstra), obtaining a time of 45.89 seconds with 8 fouls. For its part Pius Schwizer took the fourth place in a 4 fouls regular round with the 9-year-old gelding Uderzo de Rance (Hastings SF x Darco) and the also to complete the Swiss domain a Top 5 by home riders was Marc Röthlisberger along with the 10-year-old mare Cavaluna (Cyrano x Leoni).
