Romain Duguet seizes Samorin by winning the €62,000 CZ Slovakia.

Swiss rider Romain Duguet took the second FEI victory at CSI4* Samorin during the €62,000 CZ Slovakia.

The not easy second class on course designed by Italian Uliano Vezzani had a total of 50 pairs, returning 22 riders who would participate in the Winning Round and led by Romain Duguet in time of 39.18 seconds.

Representing the best time in the Winning Round for Romain Duguet with his 10-year-old mare Twentytwo des Biches (Mylord Carthago x Kalor du Bocage), secured 80 World Ranking Points with his victory and surpassed Belgian rider Constant van Paesschen with his 10-year-old gelding Compadre van de Helle (Casall x Concerto II), who finished in 39.72 seconds.

For third place Jaroslav Skrzyczynski of Poland marked on a blackboard a time of 40.59 seconds with the 8-year-old gelding Silver Shine (Caliph x Balou du Rouet), being escorted in fourth place by Marcel Marschall of Germany at 40.70 seconds with the 12-year-old mare Fenia van Klapscheut (Cicero Z van Paemel x Ahorn Z) and fifth was in power of Ann Carton-Grootjans of Belgium, finishing in 41.27 seconds with the 9-year-old gelding Irvine ter Doorn (Toulon x Sir Lui).

By Pan American Ranking Lucas Porter of the United States of America continued adding World Ranking points, now occupying the seventh place with the13-year-old mare B Once Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Lavaletto) in time of 42.42 seconds.

Turning to the Latino Ranking Joao Victor Castro of Brazil got the tenth place in what was the last clear winning round, his time was 43.75 seconds with the 11-year-old gelding Quentin PJ (Quidam de Revel x Coat 19), adding World Ranking Points. Out of the points was the former Latino Ranking leader Marlon Modolo Zanotelli of Brazil totaled 8 fouls in the first round to occupy the 41st place with his 10-year-old mare Celena VDL (Mr. Blue x Chin Chin) and Argentine rider José María Larocca escorted him with the same 8 fouls, in 42nd place accompanied by the 11-year-old stallion Gaucho Da Quinta (Cicero Z van Paemel x Upsilon vd Heffinck).
