The second day of the CSI 3* Al Shaqab in Doha had the winner of home rider Salman Mohammed A S Al Emadi, dominating the speed class with an advantage over 3 seconds.
Featuring 16-year-old gelding Zorro Z (Zandor Z x Calvin Z), Al Emadi managed to stop the clock in 67.10 seconds, being the only competitor to complete his field below 70 seconds, to take 50 World Ranking points with its result. The second position was for the Saudi Ramzy Hamad Al Duhani with the 10-year-old gelding High Quality J (Reve Quadrille x Nabab) in time of 70.89 seconds and third Frenchman Frederic David with 12-year-old stallion Baloussini (Baloubet Of Rouet x Cassini I) recording 75.88 seconds.
For the Latin Ranking the Colombian Andrés Peñalosa was the only participant occupying the seventh place with the 11-year-old gelding Barcelona (Mr.Blue x Voltaire) totaling 5 fouls in 83.12 seconds, with being credited to 20 FEI Ranking points.
