The home rider Salman Mohammed Al Emadi led the first class of CSI4* Doha in its Two Phases, secured 50 World Ranking Points.
Completing the two phases in 35.34 seconds Salman Mohammed Al Emadi with the 16-year-old gelding Zorro Z (Zandor Z x Cum-Laude Z) owned by the Qatar Equestrian Federation, took the first place on course designed by Iranian Hossein Shafiee for 12 pairs.
Although the class did not have a high participation, thus assuring that all participating riders would take World Ranking Points, the crowd enjoyed the victory of their representative and Salman Mohammed Al Emadi surpassed Turkish rider Derin Demirsoy, who registered a time of 36.87 seconds with the 14-year-old gelding Dadjak Ter Puttenen (Toulon x Dianda).
They were followed in the final order by the effective Australian rider Edwina Tops-Alexander accompanied by 8-year-old stallion Veronese Teamjoy in time of 38.32 seconds to finish in third place, while fourth place was Salmeen Sultan Al Suwaidi from Qatar with a time of 38.75 seconds next to the 17-year-old gelding Cantaro 32 (Corrado I x Liberty IV) and fifth place was Vladimir Tuganov of Russia with the 9-year-old gelding Qualidam (Quality Touch Z x Helse Pierville) in 38.83 seconds.
