Chilean Samuel Parot repeats for the second week in a row at CSI3* Rockwood of the Angelston Tournaments and wins the $40,000 Open Welcome.
Important for the former Latin Ranking leader his reunion with the victory, after dominating the same class last week, represented FEI win number 11st of the year and 40th in his professional career.
The course designed by Mexican Oscar Soberon, was the stage for Samuel Parot to earn 50 World Ranking Points with the 12-year-old mare Romance du Criolo (Kannan x Dandy du Plape), thanks to his tiebreaking round in 38.32 seconds.
For second place Keean White of Canada completed his jump-off round in 39.52 seconds with the 10-year-old mare Corette (Lupicor x Clinton) and his compatriot Beth Underhill recorded 40.67 seconds in third place with the 10-year-old gelding Count Me In (Count Grannus x Sherlock Holmes), while fourth and fifth place was for Americans Leslie Howard with the 11-year-old gelding Gentille van Spieveld (Heartbreaker x Capital) in 40.71 seconds and Ali Wolff with the 12-year-old gelding Casall (Casall x Capitol I) in time of 41.63 seconds.
