To conclude the CSI 5* week at the Winter Equestrian Festival and seventh of the 2017 season, Chilean Samuel Parot took the win in the $86,000 Suncast 1.50m Championship Jumping Classic, valid for the Suncast Series.
Introducing with 13-year-old gelding Quick Du Pottier (Hurlevent De Breka x Cuba), Parot managed to qualify for the jump-off after completed a regular round of 50 pairs and the subsequent classification of 10 combinations, where the leader of the Latin Ranking stop the clock in 38.00 seconds to earn 80 FEI Ranking points. For the second place Tiffany Foster of Canada marked a time of 38.96 seconds with the 11-year-old gelding Brighton (Contendro II x Quick Star) owned by Artisan Frams LLC and third place agency 39.02 seconds, the winner of last night McLain Ward of United States with 10-year-old marre Tina La Boheme (Calvaro x Arpege Pierreville) owned by Susan Heller and McLain Ward.
Marking his third win of the season at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL, Parot collects very interesting results that will keep him on the hunt to climb positions for the World Ranking and to consolidate at the top of the Latin Ranking.
Also participated in being left out of the points to the FEI Longines Ranking by Latinos, Enrique González of Mexico in the 29th position, Emanuel Andrade of Venezuela followed in 31st position both with 8 fouls and Yuri Mansur of Brazil completing the delegation in the 43rd position with 12 faults.
