The Zuidbroek Grand Prix took full advantage of the home riders, finishing one-two with the formidable performances of Sanne Thijssen and Jur Vrieling.
At the moment being number 77 of the world, Thijssen dominated the competition with an excellent tiebreaker round, to complete its presentation in 34.44 seconds. Marking the first of a total of seven double clear rounds, the final adjusted allowed the first 16 classified to add World Ranking Points.
Presenting with the 16-year-old mare Ulena (Baloubet du Rouet x Indoctro), the winner managed to outdo fellow countryman Jur Vrieling who completed the court in 35.18 seconds with the 11-year-old stallion Corporal Vdl (Cardento 933 x Grosso Z) while the German Philip Ruping and the 10-year-old mare Clinta (Clinton x Lord Pezi) took the third position with a time of 36.42 seconds.
