The Mexican Santiago Lambre added a new victory in the opening of the CSI5* HITS Saugerties, during the dispute of $34,600 Saugerties Jumper Classic.
The course designed by German Martin Otto and participation of 36 pairs, started the first FEI event of the week, where 11 of the riders got their classification to the jump-off led by Santiago Lambre.
Giving a time of 41.12 seconds by Mexican Santiago Lambre with the 10-year-old gelding Casino N (Careful x Ahorn), secured 50 World Ranking Points in what was its seventh 2017 FEI victory, but very worked in which finished up being a very tight end.
For second place in an excellent day for the Latino’s representatives, Luis Pedro Biraben from Argentina took the place with the 8-year-old gelding Colorado 210 (Coronas x Lenardo) in time of 41.56 seconds, result that allowed him to add 45 World Rankings Points, while third place was for American rider Laura Chapot with the 12-year-old mare Thornhill Kate (Courage II x Clover Hill) in 41.89 seconds.
Also included in the points by Latinos Venezuelan rider Emanuel Andrade occupying fifth place, securing 30 World Ranking Points accompanied by the 12-year-old mare Reus Nutria (Zandor Z x Kannan) and being escorted by Mexican Alberto Michán with the 11-year-old gelding Glasgow de Muze (Andiamo x Parco) in sixth place, while Uruguayan rider Juan Manuel Luzardo finished seventh with the 13-year-old gelding Puertas so What (Quattro x Iroko).
