The 2017 ESP Spring II week show jumping at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, FL, beginning with Mexican rider Santiago Lambre took the $10,000 Neue Schule Bits Open Stake win with a very fast jump-off round.

Rounding out decisive round in 33.79 seconds, Lambre appeared with 9-year-old gelding D’Artagnan (Mr. Blue x Carthago), where they were able to overcome for over 1 second  Australian rider Benjamin Meredith and 12-year-old mare Rivierra (Cool Fontaine x Speed Clayettois) who recorded a time of 34.88 seconds, thus marking the first victory of Mexican in spring season.

Not very distant were Emanuel Andrade from Venezuela and Roberto Terán from Colombia, being third for Andrade with 12-year-old Dipssy in 33.66 seconds and fourth place for Terán with 9-year-old stallion Dallas (Douglas x Nimmerdor) in 36.85 seconds.

The first class of the week counted on the participation of 39 pairs in a course designed by Mexican Catsy Cruz, of which 17 returned the jump-off.
