The Mexican rider Santiago Lambre continued his sweeping pace adding a new victory in the CSI4* Crete of the HITS Chicago Series.
The course designed by Brazilian Anderson de Moura Lima for a total of 42 pairs, had its decisive stage in the jump-off and an inspired and unstoppable Santiago Lambre, was in charge of first place with the 9-year-old Dolores (Harley VDL x Colorado D), securing 50 World Ranking Points.
After completing a very productive week at the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival in Williamsburg, the best class representative of Latino Ranking in Santiago Lambre, maintained the chain of good results by winning the $52,500 SmartPak Classic and surpassing in an exciting final the American rider Marilyn Little with the 10-year-old gelding Clearwater (Clearway x Come on), who owns second place.
For third place Australian rider Scott Keach with the 12-year-old gelding Fedor (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Orkaan) was again close to victory, but he could not get enough to overcome the Mexican rider.
The representatives of the Latino Ranking demonstrated mainly with the excellent presentations of the Mexican riders, when Alberto Michán occupied the fourth place and added for his account 35 FEi Ranking Points next to the 11-year-old gelding GC Chopins Bushi (Contendro II x Nairobi ). Also highlighted by Venezuelan rider Emanuel Andrade finishing in sixth place with the 10-year-old gelding Boy IV (Sandro Boy x Lansing) add points for his account of the month, while last Sunday’s winner Roberto Terán of Colombia presented with the 12-year-olg gelding Brilliant Du Rouet (Balou Du Rouet x Caretani Z) finishing in tenth place and the Argentine rider Gustavo Prato escorted him in the 11th position with 12-year-old mare Carna Z (Crown Z x Grannus), with which also they added World Ranking Points.
