The second day of the CSI 5* Jumping International of Bordeaux began with the speed class and great demonstration of the former world number 1 Scott Brash of Great Britain, liquidating by only 22 hundredths of a second the Foire Internationale de Bordeaux against the Colombian Carlos Lopez.

Being definitely a big duel between Brash and Lopez, the winner was presented with the 13-year-old mare Hello Annie (Contendro I x For Pleasure) owned by Lady Pauline Kirkham & Lady Pauline Harris, to complete his round in 58.36 seconds and get 50 World Ranking points while the Colombian representative of the Latin and Pan Am Ranking stopped the clock in 58.58 seconds with the 10-year-old mare Cuplandra (Upgrade x Metall) owned by SAS Haras Des Grillons, represented the second position and 45 FEI Ranking points.

Third place went to fast-paced Irishman Bertram Allen and 10-year-old stallion High Valley (Obourg x Kashmir van Schuttershof) in 61.24 seconds, with best seed of the competitions and number 1 of the world Germany Daniel Deusser totaling 11 fouls with 14-year-old gelding Clintop (Clinton I x Calvaro Z) in penultimate place.
