Shane Breen and Laith conquered the Rabobank Prize of CSI Twente Geesteren.

The first CSI 4* Geesteren event was won by Irish rider Shane Breen accompanied by the 10-year-old stallion Laith (Lord Z x Weinberg) owned by Team Z7 during the €29,000 Rabobank Prize.

With a total of 67 pairs, the first class in a course desing by Hendrick Jan Drabre and Jos Brinkman with 15 being classified to the jump-off and led by Shane Breen, who took 50 World Ranking Points by putting up a time of 31.23 seconds.

For the second place the Italian rider World Number 16 Alberto Zorzi recorded a time of 31.54 seconds, next to the 12-year-old gelding Living the Dream (Toulon x Flamenco de Semilly) and third place the flying Dutchman Gerco Schröder accompanied by the 10-year-old stallion Glock’s Lausejunge (Ludwigs Ass x Cornet Obolensky) in 32.23 seconds.

For the Pan American Ranking Cara Raether Carey was the only one who managed to finish within World Ranking Points, taking 12th place with the 10-year-old gelding Cedric (Indoctro x Cantos), knocking down a pole in her tiebreaker.

For the Latino Ranking Cassio Rivetti of Brazil knocked down in his regular round, completing his field in 4 fouls and 74.38 seconds with the 9-year-old stallion Ulahop Boy (Lamm de Fetan x Kannan) in the 18th position.
