Irish rider Shane Breen repeated again at the CSI4* Al Shira’aa International Horse Show in Abu Dhabi, to add another FEI victory this week.

Dominating Shane Breen the €24,700 Sheikh Zayed Bin Hazza Al Nahyan, completed his jump-off round in 33.63 seconds with the 11-year-old stallion Laith (Lord Z x Weinberg) owned by Team Z7, securing his result 50 World Ranking points.

The tiebreaker round consisting of 10 classified riders, was commanded by Irish Shane Breen who managed to overcome again world number 8 Henrik von Eckermann of Sweden, being his time of 35.15 seconds with the 12-year-old gelding Artiste de l’Abbaye d’Aulne (Conquest van de Helle x Idem d’Azur) and for third place Luis Sabino Goncalves from Portugal recorded a time of 35.19 seconds with the 11-year-old stallion Teck de Riverland (Quick Star x Cincaba Rouge).

The double clear round extended to sixth place with the performances of Khalid Hilal Al Khatri of Bahrain with the 13-year-old mare Sierra (Silvio) in fourth place, Egyptian Said Saad with the 12-year-old gelding Saphir du Valon (Quidam De Revel x Orgueil Du Donjon) finished fifth and Cecilie Hatteland from Norway with 15-year-old mare Dadjak ter Puttenen (Quidam De Revel x Orgueil Du Donjon) took sixth place.

For the Pan American Ranking Alice Debany Clero of the United States of America added World Ranking points with her 11th place along with the 13-year-old mare Amareusa S (Baloubet du Rouet x Le Mexico), while for Latino Ranking Luiz Felipe de Azevedo Filho Brazil completed a 4 fouls regular round, to finish in 26th place with the 12-year-old stallion Chacito (Chacco-Blue x Daimler).
