Dutch rider Stefanie van den Brink won the €24,600 Prijs Stoeterij Dorperheide with a tight 8-hundredth advantage in the jump-off round.
Marking the beginning of the CSI3* Opglabbeek week from November 10 to 12 in Belgium, the Dutch rider Stefanie van den Brink won the first FEI event to take 50 World Ranking points, dominating the jump-off round in time of 35.65 seconds with the 11-year-old mare Baronescha (Verdi x Concorde).
Being her 8-hundredths of a second advantage to her closest supporter, Stefanie van den Brink outdid the Finnish rider Ana-Julia Kontio and the 9-year-old gelding Lorenzo (Landos x Limbuscarsten Hsns-Thomas) to record a time of 35.73 seconds, while not very far in third place Paul Kennedy of Ireland, stopped the clock in 35.81 seconds accompanied by the 11-year-old mare Cartown Danger Mouse (Harlequin du Carel).
For the five best classified Patrick Lemmen of Holland was left with the fourth place in time of 36.03 seconds with the 9-year-old gelding Ideaal (Andiamo x Carinjo) and fifth place Arthur Da Silva of Switzerland finished at 36.19 seconds with the 9-year-old stallion Inonstop Van T Voorhof (Nonstop x Fortuin Z).
By the Latino Ranking Pedro Muylaert of Brazil managed to finish inside the points in 13th place, after knocking down two poles in his jump-off round and totaling 8 fouls in 35.63 seconds with the 8-year-old gelding Chief Tibri Z Mfs ( Corland x Berlin).
On the other hand and not managing to score points among the Latino riders, Colombian Santiago Diaz Ortega completed 4 fouls regular round to occupy the 23rd position with the 9-year-old gelding Carlson (Calido I x Silvio I). The other Latino representative was Brazilian rider Cassio Rivetti, but he retired with the 11-year-old stallion Lagerfeld (Lauterbach x Calvaro).
