Led by Swiss Olympic medalist Steve Guerdat, the speed class ended up in his power to add 50 FEI World Ranking Points and scoring a time of 52.87 seconds, taking a 2-second lead over his closest follower with the 11-year-old mare Albfuehren’s Happiness (Heartbeat x Lambrusco ASK) owned by Elisabeth Bachmann & Albführ Hofgut.
The second position was the other house representative Pius Schwizer, stopping the clock in 54.82 seconds with the 10-year-old gelding Balou Rubin R (Balou du Rouet x Couleur-Rubin), while the third place was occupied by the German Marcus Ehning and his 9-year-old mare Calanda (Calido I x Chasseur I) in time of 55,37 seconds.
