The second day concluded with the victory of Swiss Olympic medalist Steve Guerdat and his 10-year-old gelding Corbinian (Cornet Obolensky x Pilot), in a complicated tiebreaker of 5 classified.
Guerdat was the first of three double clear in time of 36.68 seconds to add 50 World Ranking points, beating the Irish Anthony Condon and 10-year-old gelding Balzac (Oklund x Frisbee Kerellec) who completed their court in 38.05 seconds. Completed the clear rounds the Spaniard Manuel Fernandez Saro and 12-year-old gelding U Watch (President x Nabab de Reve) in time of 39.85 seconds.
The decisive round was completed with a knockdown by Malin Baryard-Johnsson of Sweden, how getting the fastest time of the jump-off in 35.87 seconds to seize the fourth place in company of 10-year-old mare H&M Cue Channa (Cardinal x Robin Z), leaving the fifth place in time of 37.06 seconds for the Irishman Bertram Allen and 8-year-old gelding Izzy by Picobello (Cicero Z x Capriano) with the same 4 fouls.
The representative of the Pan American Ranking and early winner Laura Kraut, sought to repeat the victory now with 9-year-old mare Zeremonie (Zero II x Quick Star), but get down a pole in the regular round totalizer 4 fouls and 63.85 seconds, breaking her aspirations in classifying the tiebreaker.
