Swedish Douglas Lindelöw Douglas took the victory on the second day of competitions at CSI5* Mechelen and the running of the Samsung Cup speed class evaluated by Table C, able to overcome a group of 27 pairs who started in the competition, with his time of 64.21 seconds at 15-years old mare Talina (Matterhorn x Heidelberg) owned by Gerhard Wilhelmsson/Stall Fulltof, the reference time to add 50 points to the World Ranking.
For the second and completing his round without demolition the Austrian Max Kühner and his horse of 15-years old Coeur de Lion (Coriano x Cassini I) recorded in 65.73 seconds, while the third place was for the crowd favorite and home rider Pieter Devos accompanied by 12-year-old stallion Dax going Equipharma d’Abdijhoev (Desir du Chateau x Clinton), owned by Stal Devos Dv they stopped the clock at 65.79 seconds.
While the fastest time of the afternoon went to the British rider Laura Renwick and Rembrandt Blue, they knocked down a pole to add four seconds to 62.19 and finished with 66.19 seconds in total to occupy fourth place in the cup dispute.
