French rider Titouan Schumacher shone at home to win the €35,000 Grand Prix at the CSI3* Canteleu.
In the top seven positions, the home riders were led by Titouan Schumacher with the 20-year-old station Atome Z (Amadeus Z*Brimbelles x Toulon), who finished their Two Round in 36.00 seconds and added his second week’s victory.
Titouan Schumacher was out of 1 second for country man Julien Gonin, accompanied by the 14-year-old gelding Well Done (VDL Sheraton x Zeus), where a total of 13 riders took part of the Two Rounds and only 2 of them were not house representatives.
The great French star and undoubtedly one of the best Amazons of the moment Penelope Leprevost, was in charge to occupy third place next to the 12-year-old gelding Royal de Licques (Exocet de Ceran x For Ever IV), stopping the clock 1 hundredths of second slower than Gonin in 37.01 seconds. For fourth place Axel van Colen finished his field in 37.23 seconds with the 9-year-old mare Silhouette Island (Stakkatol x Balou du Rouet) and fifth place for Romane Garcia completing the Top 5 with a time of 38.84 seconds, meaning the last double double clear round accompanied by the 14-year-old gelding Phlox (Johnny Boy II x Virstly Gede).
Passing to the Pan American Ranking again Taylor Alexander of the United States was the best located, but could not add World Ranking Points in the 19th place with 12-year-old stallion Ryanair de Riverland (Quick Star x Papillon Rouge), totaling 8 fouls in the first round.
For the Latino Ranking Rene López of Colombia did not have the best luck next to the 13-year-old gelding Con Dios III (Colman x Romino), starting a complicated route which would definitely choose to retire.
