Belgian rider Vincent Lambrecht eclipsed at home the €24,700 Moorsele Grand Prix, to ensure the victory and overcome Italian rider Emanuele Bianchi.
In a disputed jump-off round with 16 classified riders after passing the regular round 39 pairs on course designed by Marc Debaere, Belgian rider Vincent Lambrecht secured 50 World Ranking Points with his 9-year-old mare Just Energie, when completing in 35.98 seconds its route.
Setting the pace and getting a good lead, Vincent Lambrecht beat Italian rider Emanuele Bianchi, who finished second with the 14-year-old mare Zycalin W (Caspar x Carthago) in 38.60 seconds, while third place was held by Chanel de Baets of Belgium in time of 39.69 seconds next to the 9-year-old stallion Jericho.
The last double clear round was for Irishman Trevor Breen with the 9-year-old stallion Clyde Va (Caretino x Quintero), finishing fourth in 41.78 seconds and the best time of the tiebreaker was for Belgian rider Hendrik Denutte, but he knocked down a pole that sent him to fifth place with the 9-year-old gelding Don Flamenco vd Kranenburg (Flamenco Desemilly x Kannan).
By Pan American Ranking managed to score points Canadian rider Elizabeth Bates in 12th place, completing her tiebreaker in 4 fouls with the 9-year-old mare Vanille de Coquerie (Castronom Z*de Hus x Quidam de Revel) and American rider Randy Sherman out of the points in 24th place with the 11-year-old stallion For Passion d Ive Z (For Pleasure x Quidam de Revel).
