Third day at Olympia London International Horse Show continuing with the outstanding performance by the home riders, with the turn this time to William Whitaker and the horse Balibu (Baloubet du Rouet x Grannus) a 10-year old stallion owned by Michael Whitaker.

With 21 pairs in court to contest the Christmas Tree Stakes, return 13 to the jump-off with 5 double clears in total and an unbeatable time of 31.89 seconds by William, to overtake the Finnish Anna-Julia Kontio who was presented with the 14-year old gelding Fardon (Corland x Mescalero) recording a time of 32.08 seconds.

John Whitaker and Ornellaia finished third in the Christmas Tree Stakes.

The strong fight for the first place was not limited to the duel Whitaker-Kontio, the family continued to set the pace in the class with John Whitaker and the horse Ornellaia (For Pleasure x Calato) a 10-years old mare, remaining only one hundredth of a second above the Finnish rider, totaling veteran rider a perfect field in 32.09 seconds.
