Yann Candele wins the CSI 3* 1.45 Prix Saint Lo Agglo.

The Canadian Olympic team and unique representative of the Pan American Ranking Yann Candele, prevailed in France for the first CSI 3* St Lo victory.

Completing his jump-off round in 38.97 seconds, Pan American gold medalist Yann Candele appeared with the 11-year-old gelding Chaventyno (Chacco-Blue) owned by Legacy Stables Llc to secure 50 World Ranking Points in the €24,600 CSI 3* 1.45 Prix Saint Lo Agglo.

With 16 riders qualified for the jump-off, Yann Candele got the first of nine double clear rounds that would finish the course designed by Frenchman Jean-Paul LePetit, while the second place was occupied by Eline Whitaker of Great Britain with the 8-year-old mare Arena UK Winston (Waldo Van Dungen) in time of 39.46 seconds.

The top five finishers were completed by three home riders with Romain Bourdoncle in third place alongside ten-year-old Tiamo Massuere (Calato) with a time of 39.58 seconds, fourth place for Thomas Rousseau with the 9-year-old stallion Up To You (Calvaro) in 39.63 seconds and fifth place Patrice Delaveau with the 9-year-old gelding Urcos de Kerglenn HDC (Toulon) in 39.86 seconds.
